Each Emerald will fall onto a stand. Jump onto an Emerald to goto a special stage. Complete all 7 special stages to turn all the chaos emeralds into super emeralds. Collect fifty or more rings in any stage and then jump and press the jump button while in the air to become hypersonic, who can go faster than normal sonic and do a really powerful energy attack.
